The Mindful Educators Podcast

Aug 27, 2020

Welcome back friends to season 2 of our podcast. It’s a hard time in the world right now and a hard time to be in education, and so in this week’s episode we focus on how we as educators continue to show up and teach when we feel like we can’t or don’t want to? We discuss how looking too far ahead right now keeps us stuck and unmotivated while focusing on the smaller chunks allows us to feel less like we can’t do it and more like we can do it. When we focus on these smaller chunks, things become more manageable and sustainable, And that brings hope. So listen in to how we are approaching our first day this year (our small chunk) to make it comfortable for us as well as for our students. Don’t forget to check out the end of our podcast where we offer our own version of Show and Tell, where we share what we are into this week. Show and Tell: Dave: Outcry on Showtime Erin: Monkfruit sweetener We are wishing you all the space and grace you need to remain in good health, body, mind and spirit. Friends, we‘ve got this!
